Lucky’s - British Curry Awards 2010

The British Curry Awards were launched in 2005, and very quickly they became the Oscars of the curry industry, and undoubtedly now one of the biggest events in the hospitality calendar of the UK...

The awards recognise, reward and celebrate the unsung heroes who work day in and day out to make curry the most favourite food in the UK.  Our Prime Minister David Cameron said at the British Curry Awards 2009 ceremony ‘You have made us a richer, a stronger, a more interesting and a better fed country’.

The British Curry Awards 2010, this year will be celebrated at Grosvenor House, London, on Sunday 21st November.  There are two categories that will be judged: The Best Spice Restaurant, And the Newcomer of the year.

The Best Spice Restaurant awards will be made on a regional basis, as happened in previous years, for following regions: Scotland - North East - North West - East Midlands - West Midlands - Wales, South East - South West - London Centre & City - London Outer & Suburbs.

And the Newcomer of the year award

Well this category will be judged on a national basis.
